WIRE STRAPPING

BUCKLES

Buckles are a low cost method of securing plastic (poly) strapping.  Metallic buckles can generally withstand greater tensioning by hand, or with

a tensioning tool over plastic buckles.  Because there is no permanent seal or crimp, the strap can loosen slightly through the buckle.  The

greatest asset of the buckle system is portability and the ability to re-tension the strap.

Selection of the buckle is determined by the type of strapping being utilized (for use on plastic strapping only).
