Simply turn the large knob and the tape is cut into multiple 1 1/2" pieces and applied to a star wheel for easy removal.  Perfect for applications where a fixed 1 1/2" length of tape is needed.  Usable with 1 roll of tape up to 1 1/2" wide or 2 individual rolls of tape up to 3/4" wide.

A separate free mandrel for 3/4" tape allows it to be used as an ordinary desktop tape dispenser for random lengths.
